With over 20 years of coaching experience, Hazel has specialised in teaching swimmers with special needs, primarily Autism Spectrum Disorder, since 2006 — running St Clare School's swim programmes since 2016 and assisting Fins Aquatics Centre's Mass Swim events for children with special needs in 2018 and 2019.

Special Needs Coach Team
Since 2008, we have been collaborating with St Clare School to provide swimming programs for students with special needs. We offer a well-structured curriculum designed for students with autism, Down syndrome, ADHD, and other special needs, and have helped hundreds of students learnt how to swim over the years.
Swimming is not only an essential life skill, but also an effective way for students to release emotions and improve emotional regulation. With love, patience, and a step-by-step teaching approach, our coaches help students build confidence, improve coordination and focus, and experience joy and growth in the water.
